Spain · Small-group · 2026 dates open

I didn't expect Andalucía to feel like this…

Whitewashed villages. Long lunches in shaded plazas. Flamenco echoing through Córdoba's old quarter. This isn't the Spain most tourists ever see.

A small-group journey through

The Real Spain. Boutique, intimate, unhurried.

Boutique hotels in restored haciendas. Tapas crawls with locals who actually live there. Cooking with a Sevillana grandmother. Wine in the Sherry triangle. Every detail thoughtfully planned for you.

You just show up and enjoy.

Everything taken care of

What's included.

Nine nights, six experiences a day, zero logistics on your plate. Show up with a sense of curiosity, we handle the rest.

Boutique accommodations

Hand-picked palaces, restored convents and family-run haciendas. The kind of places you'd send a postcard from.

Wine & tapas experiences

Sherry tastings in Jerez, vermouth bars in Sevilla, tapas with chefs in Córdoba. Eat where the locals eat.

Small-group travel

Maximum 12 guests per departure, never a coach, never a name-tag. Just a relaxed group with room to breathe.

Guided cultural experiences

Private after-hours visits to the Mezquita, flamenco in a tablao no tour bus reaches, Moorish history brought to life.

Local expertise, every step

Native Andaluz guides who grew up here. They know the chef, the bodeguero, the family who'll open their patio for you.

All transport included

Private chauffeur between cities, in-town transfers, even the high-speed AVE. No taxis to flag, no Google Maps to fight.

Day 01Sevilla

Sevilla, slowly.

Welcome dinner under orange trees in the Jewish quarter. No itinerary tonight, just olives, wine, and the sound of cicadas.

Day 02Córdoba

Córdoba's hidden patios.

An after-hours private visit to the Mezquita, then patios you'll never find on a map, opened by the families who tend them.

Day 03Ronda

Ronda & the cliffside drive.

Cross the Puente Nuevo at golden hour. Stay in a hacienda that hasn't changed in 200 years. Read on the terrace, untouched.

Day 04The white villages

Setenil, Zahara & Mijas.

A loop through the pueblos blancos. Lunch in a cave restaurant. Buy almonds from a yiayia who calls you guapa.

Day 05Granada

The Alhambra at first light.

Skip-the-line Nasrid Palaces before the crowds. Sunset tapas in Albaicín, where the call to prayer used to drift over the rooftops.

Day 06Jerez

Sherry country.

Bodegas with barrels signed by Picasso, Hemingway and the Queen. Lunch is fried fish by the Atlantic. Long, salty, golden.

Loved by 100+ travellers

In their own words.

Five stars across the board. But the messages we treasure most are the ones that arrive months later, long after the trip ends.

It was so easy to fall in love with Andalucía. Every day the overwhelming beauty of the landscape, the magnificent architecture, the exquisite archaeological artifacts, the friendly locals, the amazing food and, of course, the wine made the tour an intensely wonderful experience.
Jean Petraukas Andalucía, Spring 2025

“The kind of trip you can't replicate by booking it yourself. Fernweh opened doors I didn't know existed, literally. Private patios, family kitchens, vineyards.”

Marian R. · Solo traveller, Toronto

“Twelve strangers became friends by Day 3. The pace was slow on purpose, long lunches, real conversations, no checklist tourism. Already booked the Portugal one.”

David & Carla · Sevilla → Granada, Oct 2025
Meet your guides

Locally owned. Locally guided. Quietly obsessive about the details.

  • Twelve guests, never more
  • Direct relationships with every hotel and chef
  • Flexible itinerary, built to adapt to your group
Good questions

Things people ask us.

Don't see yours? Reply to the itinerary email, we read every message ourselves.

Is this trip right for solo travellers?
Absolutely. Roughly half of our guests come solo. The small group makes it easy to find your people without ever feeling pressured to socialize. Single-supplement rooms are available without a steep upcharge.
What's the group size, really?
Maximum 12. Often 8 or 10. Our most-loved departures have been with smaller groups, the conversations get richer and the doors open wider.
What fitness level do I need?
Andalucía is hilly and the old quarters are cobbled, we walk a few kilometres most days, comfortable shoes essential. There are no hikes; we never leave anyone behind.
What's not included?
International flights, travel insurance, and a couple of dinners we deliberately leave free so you can wander on your own. Everything else is covered: hotels, transfers, meals listed in the itinerary, all entry fees, all guides.
How do I reserve a spot?
Request the itinerary above. A Fernweh planner will reach out within one business day to walk you through dates and answer questions. A small refundable deposit holds your seat.
